Langton Lodge is delighted to announce the launch of its newly renovated Laurie Bar & Games Room, adding an extra dimension to the level of facilities on offer all year round. You can mix your own cocktails at the bar and enjoy relaxing on sumptuous sofas with views over the swimming pool with cosy proximity to the wood burning stove for the winter months. A state of the art cinema projector screen also allows you to sit back in front of a DVD or your favourite sport. (it also has the capability to plug in your own laptop to view a Sky Go account if you have one) Or if you prefer you can just listen to your own music wirelessly from your smartphone/iphone by just simply downloading an app. Through a set of double French doors there is the adjoining Games room which has a pool table and fold away table tennis table. There is also a separate WC and changing room/boot room should you wish to use it.

The Lodge has been a family residence for the past 25 years and the original plan when we first started the refurbishment was to keep it that way. However on completion of the works, everyone that came to see it commented on the dramatic transformation and how other people should be invited to enjoy it to!

We wanted to create a unique holiday retreat with all the luxuries you would expect at a boutique hotel whilst feeling like a home from home. We’ve always felt that attention to detail makes memorable holidays so it was very important for us to incorporate this mantra into the design for the Lodge. From the biggest beds and surround sound audio visuals to double ended baths with room enough for 2 we’ve tried to add little creative touches that are appreciated by our guests.

In December 2010 we were extremely pleased when we were awarded a five star rating and a gold award from the English Tourist Board, VistEngland. All our hard work was worth it.

We now are looking forward to welcoming guests and are on hand if you need us but will never intrude.
